Carriage garage doors come in 3 types with numerous design choices Hillcrest
Hillcrest Collection - Typical 4 section door that comes in the single, double and triple layer construction with a polystyrene core on the double and triple layer doors. Basically a traditional garage door with a carriage stamp. Windows and black decorative hardware can be added to give the door an amazing look. All panel designs are priced the same and come in 5 base colors with additional colors available at an additional cost.
All garage doors are priced to include installation and tax
Price also includes the tear out, removal and disposal of
old door
New door panels, track, springs, hardware, weather stripping and reattachment and adjusting of existing garage door opener There are basically 4 types (construction) of garage doors (see below)
Single Layer is a single sheet of metal and is a non insulated door Double Layer is a single sheet of metal with polystyrene and NO steelback and is considered an insulated door Triple Layer - Polystyrene is a steel front and steel back with a polystyrene core (R Value 10) Triple Layer - Polyeurthane is a steel front and steel back with a Polyeurthane core (R Value 12 - 18) See the R Value Chart for more on R Values
